here are the final two cards in my 10-week greeting card adventure! it was a really fun assignment and, despite getting a little behind, i definitely enjoyed the challenge of coming up with a new card each week.
both of these are available on my storenvy, and keep your eyes peeled because i’ll definitely be making more of these in the future!
a promotional poster assignment for the Portland Ballet Company!
the text is just a placeholder for now, but this is basically what the final image will look like. each person in our class will be getting their poster printed and displayed during the art walk in june. i can’t wait to see him printed all big and beautiful!
my lumberjack valentine is on the front page of the storenvy illustration page! neato!
i’m going to be updating things in the next few weeks (when my classes aren’t trying to kill me) and i’ve got plans for website/blog reboot in the works once summer break begins, so stay tuned!

artof-cha asked: I am absolutely in love with your illustrations!
ohh, thank you!
your work is really lovely, too!
the latest project for my majors studio, a broadway poster redesign. hopefully the printed version looks just as good!
it’s merit show season again! this year i took a different approach and included an assortment of pieces instead of a single series of portraits like i did last year and, while it was a pain in the neck to install, i’m really happy with it. i’ll be posting pictures of the entire installation later, but until then here’s some scans of my favorite piece i put in.
i made bunting, with each flag bearing the face of someone who i feel has been especially important or prevalent in my life over the past six months. it was my own way of incorporating some of my favorite things (bunting and drawing faces) and some of my favorite people into one project, and i’m really happy with how it came out!
greeting card double whammy (because last week was spring break and i forgot to make one oopsies)
a friend from high school is having a baby soon, so i was inspired to make a congratulations card for her and new little cutie!
and the other one’s just a sweet little thank you card
as always, both are available in my store, along with all the others i’ve made so far!
